I have only had my subscription since February, unfortunately, because I hadn't known about Beckett Pokemon until December 2007. I waited to get a subscription in February, since that's when my birthday is. When I finally got my subscription, it was my favorite present and I couldn't wait for my first Issue to come. So I tried to wait patiently but the anticipation was building up inside me. When I recieved my first Issue, #97, I loved it so much. Since I am a huge fan of Pokemon, I always love hearing about new Pokemon products, cards or games, and I like learning things I didn't know about them. For example, the section: Real Life Pokemon, that is my favorite section. It teaches me so many things that I didn't know about them. Like in the most recent Issue, Issue 107, I loved the section about Houndoom; the Black Shuck. It sort of creeped me out a bit, but it was such a well-written and informational passage.
My other favorite thing about Beckett Pokemon magazines is the Price Guide for Pokemon cards (including the Top Ten). I really like to see the top ten most popular cards at the time, because I like to see how many of them I have, and how much they cost. Also, the price guide is so easy to read because it is really organized and clear. That is one thing I like about Beckett Pokemon, everything in it is easy to read and I like it. Anyways, in the price guide section, I like to see the price on my rare cards. For example, I have an Infernape Lv. X, an Electivire Lv. X, and a Darkrai Lv. X. I like to see how much the prices fluctuate every month.
All in all, Beckett Pokemon is by far the best Pokemon magazine around!
