2016 Rittenhouse James Bond Archives: Spectre Edition arrives just over one year after the 24th (official) film for the franchise hit the big screen. And while Spectre gets much of the attention, like other recent Bond sets, there’s significant content for other movies in the series as well.

Autographs are inserted two per box. Among those on the checklist are the first signed James Bond cards from several key members of the Spectre cast.

Base Set

The 2016 Rittenhouse James Bond Archives base set is all Spectre. It breaks down the entire film with plenty of photos showcasing the action, twists and turns. This later release might not be as timely as putting it out when the movie did, but it does allow for the cards to take the movie as a whole, from start to finish, instead of being limited by potential spoilers.

The base set comes with a Gold parallel.

2016 James Bond Archives SPECTRE Edition Autographs lot

Autographs come from across James Bond’s cinematic history. That said, there are a handful of debuts from Spectre. It starts with Lea Seydoux, who played Dr. Madeleine Swann. This is the French actress’ first certified autograph card of any kind. Seydoux has also appeared in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocal, Blue Is the Warmest Color and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

David Bautista, the former WWE champion, is also included on the checklist. Despite being one of the top stars in wrestling for several years, he never signed for a WWE set. Bautista does have autographs in Upper Deck’s Guardians of the Galaxy, though. 2016 Rittenhouse James Bond Archives has his first on-card autographs.

Others in the set include Roger Moore, Jane Seymour, Teri Hatcher, Joe Don Baker, Britt Ekland and Maryam d’Abo.

Not all of the autographs in 2016 Rittenhosue James Bond Archives are included in packs. A dual autograph featuring Aliza Gur and Martine Beswick is a six-case incentive. The nine-case incentive is an autographed prop card of Jonathan Pryce. Finally, there’s a Clifton James autograph that’s exclusive to the set’s Archive Box. These are given as 18-case incentives.

Memorabilia Cards

Both costumes and props have cards in 2016 Rittenhouse James Bond Archives. Pieces include Moneypenny’s files (Spectre), Draco’s wall calendar (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service), Alvarez Clinic documents (Die Another Day) and police badges (Licence to Kill).

Inserts

Continuing with Rittenhouse’s trend of going back to earlier Bond films and creating large throwback inserts, Diamonds Are Forever, Moonraker and The Living Daylights get their turn. The Living Daylights also has Gold parallels.

Rounding things out are 007 Mirror cards, which are done double-sided.
