In one more day, the NHL Fan Fest in Ottawa will be upon us. Upper Deck has announced its plans for hockey fans and collectors to get exclusive cards.
“When the NHL All-Star Game is in a great hockey market like Ottawa, we really try to pull out all the stops to make it a memorable experience for hockey fans in attendance,” said Jodi Wasserman, Upper Deck’s Director of Marketing. “We’re anticipating a great turnout, so we’ve come up with a highly sought-after lineup of All-Star redemption card sets to hand out each day of the show.”
Open three packs of any 2011-12 Upper Deck hockey product (Victory is excluded) at the UD booth and receive one 2011 three-card All-Star pack. Wrapper redemptions are limited to one pack per customer per day.
The first pack includes Senators center Colin Greening, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and current All-Star Tim Thomas of Boston. The second pack features Senators center Kyle Turris, hockey icon Mario Lemieux and rookie Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. The third pack spotlights fellow Senators player Mika Zibanejad, hockey great Bobby Orr and Pittsburgh’s Sidney Crosby.
Collectors who open a hobby box of any 2011-12 Upper Deck hockey product at the company’s booth will receive a limited-edition commemorative card, while supplies last, featuring Senators teammates Daniel Alfredsson, Jason Spezza and Erik Karlsson.
Collectors will also get a special treat on Saturday. Vancouver Canucks’ Cody Hodgson will also have an one-hour autograph session at the Upper Deck Booth starting at noon for no charge.
