Let the dumpster diving (for wrappers) commence.

Topps announced on Monday a wrapper redemption program for buyers of 2010 Bowman Chrome as well as admitted that one set of high-demand buyback autograph cards slated for the product — one thatincludes Bryce Harper — didn’t make pack-out and will be part of the hobby-only redemption program.

For every 18 wrappers (hobby-only) that collectors send in, they will receive a five-card pack of black-bordered 2010 Bowman cards. The set will include all 110 prospects from 2010 Bowman will be included in the redemption as well as a 37-card USA Baseball black-bordered Chrome autograph set where all cards will be limited to just 25 copies. Those cards will feature the 2010 Collegiate National Team and the 2010 18U National Team.

Also part of the packs will be five autographed Chrome Rookies & Prospects autographs, each limited to 100. The players will include Buster Posey, Mike Stanton, Mike Moustakas, Miguel Sano and Dustin Ackley.

The USA buybacks — which include the highly touted Harper’s first certified Topps autograph released to the public — were not included in Bowman Chrome packs because of a production error,  according to Topps, so they will be part of this program.

The deadline for wrappers to be sent to Topps is March 31, 2011, and all should be sent to:

Topps ATTN: Bowman Chrome Promotion
PO BOX 2230
Duryea, PA  18642

I don’t see the wrapper redemption announcement on Topps web site. Is there any more information that must be sent along with just our wrappers to their address?

I have about 3 cases worth, any help is appreciated. can you divide them into 18, and put a 3×5 card in each one, and mail them all together?

Please tell me there is some sort of extension for the wrapper redemption. I just busted a case for my birthday (late March) and JUST saw the wrapper redemption deadline was 3/31. Why would the program expire so quickly?

As ample progress as is possible, given the presence of Wilson Betemit on my roster. I broke my keyboard after Team Nastanovich picked Braun off the waiver wire. Unless Corey Hart learns to play third base/records another hit, it wont have been worth it.
