The newest season of Warehouse 13 is here – right in time with the announcement of the newest set of cards for the SyFy television show.

Rittenhouse Archives’ Warehouse 13 Season 4 Episodes 1 thru 10 will release on June 19. The premium packs will contain one autograph or autograph relic card, two relic cards, two episode cards and one Of Monsters and Men or Grand Design chase cards.

The show depicts a group of secret federal agents who crisscross the globe looking for enchanted artifacts, and then lock them up so they can do no harm. Warehouse 13 adds comedy and suspense to the popular cable show.

The autograph cards include a couple of the main stars such as Joanne Kelly (Myka Bering) and Allison Scagliotti (Claudia). Other actors include CCH Pounder (Mrs. Frederic), Jeri Ryan (Amanda Lattimer), Genelle Williams (Leena) and Brent Spiner (Brother Adrian).

Episode cards feature two cards per episode.

Those purchasing boxes of Warehouse 13 will get incentive cards from Rittenhouse:
-Two boxes: Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer) relic card
-Four boxes: Jeri Ryan autograph/relic card
-Eight boxes: Warehouse 13 Season Four Premium Pack Archive Box, including a master set.

Happy New Year!

The last couple days of 2012, I thought about the resolutions I wanted to make for 2013 – cardboard resolutions.

What did I want for my collection?

In 2012, I streamlined my collection greatly. I got rid of about 16,000 commons and inserts for a small stack of Derek Jeter cards, which included inserts and memorabilia cards. This probably puts my Jeter collection at more than 1,800 unique cards.

Progress.

However, my collection is not where I want it to be. I want to trade or sell even more of my non-Jeter or Yankees for cards I want. It would be easy to do if I enjoyed selling cards, but I don’t like the hassle that comes with that.

Sometimes I even have a little seller’s remorse, which takes a couple of days to go away.

But I think I’m ready, so here are my plans for 2013.

Sort my Jeter collection

It should be done already, I know! At one point, I had my entire Derek Jeter collection organized in Beckett’s database. However, I’m working at creating a file I can take with me offline. There are many card shows in basements where there is no Internet service, making it tough to access my Organize.

Additionally, I got to the point where I stopped keeping track of my Jeter cards and right now, I have a big brown box filled with cards in top loaders. I need to get this done so I don’t buy any more doubles.

Get to 2,000 cards

I’d like to reach at least 2,000 unique Jeter cards this year, an attainable goal. The number might also be adjusted based on how many cards I actually have once it’s all sorted.

Write about card shows

I go to card shows a lot (I was actually at one yesterday). I like card shows, even tiny ones because there are so many unique items you can find.

But I seldom write about them.

That’s going to change in 2013. I intend to do more trip reports to give collectors a glimpse of East Coast card shows (So, expect one later today).

Chase non-sports autographs

I have a handful of non-sports autographs of actors that I enjoy from movies and television shows. I’ve already started to make a list of the cards I want, which is about 20 names long.

It includes actors from Eureka, Warehouse 13, Supernatural and Buffy (there is a theme here). I’m sure I’ll add a couple of more people along the way

Looking for strange and even dangerous artifacts is part the job for the agents of Warehouse 13.

The SyFy television show is popular on the channel, and so are the cards Rittenhouse Archives has developed. This week, marked the release of Season 3’s trading cards.

Autographs are part of the set with almost all of the main characters signing such as Eddie McClintock, who plays Pete Lattimore, Saul Rubinek (Artie Nelson) and Allison Scagliotti (Claudia Donovan).

A quirk to Warehouse 13 Season 3 Trading Cards is a Special Jewel Claudia Donovan Relic Card, which are rare. The jewels were part of Scagliotti’s costume. These cards are expected to get some decent money on eBay.

Fans of the show will recognize the photo on the card from the video game episode that involved a little crossover with another SyFy show, Eureka.

Rittenhouse has sold out of the cards, so collectors will have to buy them through a dealer or online.

Only 200 boxes were made of the Warehouse 13 Season 3 Trading Cards.

How many people are SyFy Network geeks out there?

You can count me as one of them, although one of my favorites is coming off the air soon (I’ll miss Eureka).

However, another favorite from the network is Warehouse 13. The fun thing about many of these shows is there are trading cards of them on the market.

Rittenhouse Archives is also creating another set with Warehouse 13: Season Three, which comes out in October and with many of the main cast members signing autographs.

The cards will be sold as part of premium packs ($50 each) with six cards in every pack, including two relics and one autograph. This set is going to be extremely limited to buyers with just 200 boxes being made, which means just 3,000 packs will be made for the third season of Warehouse 13.

The current autograph checklist includes Eddie McClintock (Pete Lattimer), Saul Rubinek (Artie Nielsen), Allison Scagliotti (Claudia), CCH Pounder (Mrs. Irene Frederic), Kate Mulgrew (Jane Lattimer), Jeri Ryan (Amanda Lattimer), Lindsay Wagner (Dr. Vanessa Calder), Aaron Ashmore (Steve Jinks) and Rene Auberjonois (Hugo Miller).

Rittenhouse is also giving away extra cards as part of an incentive program.

Two boxes: Saul Rubinek autographed relic card.
Four boxes: Eddie McClintock autographed relic card.
Eight boxes: A Warehouse 13: Season Three Archive Box, including a complete master set of all pack-inserted cards and incentive cards.
