Press Pass is in final preparations for its latest pre-draft release. 2013 Press Pass Rookie Football comes out March 20th with six on-card autographs in every box.

One of the most popular features of Press Pass from year-to-year are the Autograph Inscriptions. Players sign their names, but with a little something extra.

Most of the 2013 NFL prospects went the safe route with their inscriptions, rooting on their college team. But a few players decided to change it up. Red Ink autographs are randomly inserted into the product.

Players include Matt Barkley, Manti Te’o, Tyler Wilson and others.

Autograph cards of the 2013 football draft picks start showing up early this spring. Press Pass is putting out a couple of products before the April draft to get collectors started.

In April, Press Pass will release 2013 Press Pass Fanfare Football featuring one pack of five autographs.

The autographs feature chromium technology with more than 70 signers. There are seven parallels with six being numbered.

Press Pass will include three Holofoil autographed inserts of Potent Passers, Saturday Starters and Gridiron Graphs.

Players in this set include Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Manti Te’o, Tyler Wilson, Mike Glennon, Montee Ball, Eddie Lacy and Tyler Eifert.

Fanfare is scheduled to come out toward the end of April right round the start of the draft.

It’s time to start going through football mock drafts and ranking your favorite college players. The early football products will be here soon enough.

Press Pass kicks off its football schedule on March 20 with 2013 Press Pass Football, featuring six five-card packs with an autograph in every pack. Press Pass signed nearly 70 potential draft picks with players such as Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Manti Te’o and Marcus Lattimore.

Press Pass Signings will contain four parallels: Gold (numbered to 199 or less), Bronze (#’d to 99 or less), Blue (#’d to 50, hobby only) and Silver.

Inserts include Playmakers with some of the best college athletes entering the 2013 Draft, and Power Picks featuring the top products. Power Picks will also have autographed versions.

The base set contains 50 cards with Gold, Holofoil (numbered to 299), Proof Edition (numbered to 100, hobby only) and Solos (1-of-1, hobby only).

The next season of football cards is just a couple of months away with companies getting the hottest draft picks on cards. Leaf is coming out with two products highlighting some of the top young talent.

Leaf Metal Draft and Leaf Valiant both release in early March with players such as Matt Barkley and Manti Te’o.

Both of these sets will feature many of the same players, just with drastically different designs.

Leaf Metal Draft: This popular pre-draft product will have a heavy focus on skilled position players since they are usually the favorites every year.

“These players are the best sellers (and where most sleepers are found),” Leaf wrote on its sell sheet.

Leaf Metal U.S. Army autographs will also be included, containing potential future stars. Past players in this set include Tim Tebow, Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush and Vince Young.

Collectors will find five autographs in every box.

Leaf Valiant: This set will feature a short print run for 2013. It will also highlight many skilled position players, trying to give collectors the most of what they want.

Valiant will also include five autographs in every box.

Leaf surprise: A secret autograph is in each product. The company has teased this card through social media and on its sell sheet, but it won’t say who the card will be.

It’s for a redemption card that is too “too big to picture,” according to Leaf.

SA-GE Collectibles announced a couple of high profile signings.

Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o and USC quarterback Matt Barkley will both appear in 2013 SA-GE Hit.

The company announced the signings on Monday, capturing well-known college athletes for its next set.

Te’o was a Heisman Trophy finalist, but the linebacker made bigger headlines recently when he was reportedly scammed in an Internet dating hoax. However, his draft position remains in flux.

Barkley was one of the most popular players in high school and was named the 2007 Gatorade National Player of the Year as a non-senior. Barkley could be drafted in the first round.
