Heritage Auctions has plenty in store for its auction taking place on Aug. 4 in conjunction with the National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago — and the highlights set to hit the auction block include “Shoeless” Joe Jackson’s Black Betsy bat and a uniform worn by New York Yankees legend Lou Gehrig during the 1934 Tour of Japan.

Among the lots in Memory Lane Inc.’s latest auction is one that features five pairs of game-used LeBron James size 16 Nikes — all worn during Games 2-6 of the 2008 Eastern Conference Finals. Each is signed as a 1/1 and was acquired and witnessed by Upper Deck Authenticated. The minimum bid? $5,000. The event opened on Saturday and all auctions will close on April 28.
