Beckett Baseball‘s Chris Olds rips into a box of baseball cards that’s more than 20 years old in this latest retro edition of Ripping Retail.
What was inside? Watch and find out …
Come on Chris…. whats wrong with Kirt Manwaring??? the guy won a gold glove once upon a time and has a WS ring!
Have been away from the hobby for quite a while and am enjoying getting back into it, appreciate the box busting videos as am overseas and is difficult to see how a box plays out. Cant just walk into a shop and try a couple packs, so seeing you guys bust them gives a bit of an idea of what to expect before spending loads to have a box shipped abroad.
Did you really put that Kevin Maas in a card sleeve? You doubled its value!
I dont know what is sadder. You opening this junk or me watching you open this junk.
Kevin Maas is a golden god.
Don: I only do them because a LOT of people tell me they like them. They also get just as many — if not more — views than some of the brand-new stuff.
Send me that Bagwell!!!
The two different designs was actually because the cards in packs were reprints of team set cards from that year. CMC made cards only of Triple-A players, while ProCards made cards of lower leagues. That’s why the AAA cards from packs have the CMC design from that year, while A and AA players have the ProCards design.
chris olds will eat a box of cards at some point…i just know it.
Paul: yep, though it is all under the CMC name as far as packaging.
Backup: um, no.
