I agree Panini should think about bringing these cards back. With the new technology I am sure they could do more with them and still keep the price down. It would be a nice set to get in BB/FB/Bsktb or Hockey. The sets were small and I think it would make it even more fun to collect. Looking forward to you doing an updated box if you can get 1. #BringbackActionPacked
In my opinion,Action Packed was ahead of it’s time. With the gold, the gems embedded, the heat sensitive technology, and the overall layout of their cards. It seemed to me they put quite a bit of thought into their rookie inclusions,as well.I know it was a different era where there wasn’t 40 different releases, but there’s a lot of players who only have an Action Packed rookie card. The biggest name that comes to mind,is Troy Brown.I’m pretty sure that card made the hot list a couple times, during their Super Bowl runs.I think it might be a thing for Panini to think about bringing back, but I’m not sure in which way.I recall in either ’02 or ’03,without looking it up, Donruss making Action Packed inserts and I don’t think people took to it.It just wasn’t the same.I’m not sure how they could work with the auto/mem demands,of today, and deliver the same look as 20 years ago.It was an acquired taste back then and I’m not sure if there’s a big enough market to make it its own product now.
you are not alone. loved them but never ended up with much of it for whatever reason
