The basketball community will celebrate some of its greatest members this weekend as the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame adds several new members and Panini America will once again be on hand to help celebrate their achievements.
In fact, those attending Friday night’s enshrinement ceremony will receive a special 12-card set featuring such legends as Dikembe Mutombo, Spencer Haywood, Jo Jo White, and Lisa Leslie. Two of the newest members will also be making their cardboard debuts as well in former referee Dick Bavetta and pioneer player John Isaacs.
One of the highlights for fans attending events at the Hall of Fame is Saturday’s autograph session featuring a selection of members of the Class of 2015. Held at the Gift Shop & Museum Store from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., only a limited number of tickets are available and fans should know that admission does include items to be signed. Additional terms and restrictions may apply to this event as well.
Panini plans to keep collectors updated on the festivities through the weekend via their social media feeds. Further coverage of the Class of 2015 will be found in the November issue of Beckett Basketball.
