Another game, another homer for Yasiel Puig.
The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder smacked his fourth home run in his first five games Friday night in Los Angeles and his torrid week has left baseball card companies working to add him into upcoming products.
Panini America announced its news on Friday, adding to a week that included Topps’ plans as well.
Panini, an MLBPA-approved card licensee, will include the Cuban-born slugger in the forthcoming 2013 Pinnacle and 2013 Prizm sets, which will arrive next month and in August respectively.
Overall, Puig already appears on 166 total cards already valued at more than $2,700, not including rarities. Of that total, 68 are certified autographs, mostly from Leaf Trading Cards products produced last year.
