Next Topps UFC product includes fistographs & more
By Chris Olds | Beckett Sports Card Monthly Editor
Collectors often say they want more in a product and in the forthcoming 2012 Topps UFC Knockout they’re going to get just that via the Fistograph.
What’s a Fistograph? It’s an over-sized box-topper that includes not only an autograph but an inked print of a fighter’s fist — you know, an impression of what makes an impression in the sport, albeit typically inside a glove.
Ten different fighters will sign and ink up for the box-toppers in the high-end hobby-exclusive product that will include a hit in every pack and two autographed Relics, two autographs and four Relics in every box. For a look at what else can be found, see a gallery of some cards in the product arriving on Jan. 25 after the jump.
Between Rounds Autographed Relics will showcase Octagon girls such as Arianny Celeste with pieces of their clothes, round cards and robes embedded into the cards.
Premium Pieces Relics will show a fighter with a swatch and autograph.
A 100-card base set will feature retired and current stars from UFC and Strikeforce, including female fighters such as Cris Cyborg.
A slate of Triple Threads cards including Combo Relics as well as single-fighter cards complete with autographs and Relics will be found.
Three of a Kind autographs group fighters with a common bond.
Notable Nicknames autographs will showcase 20 notable fighters and their famous monikers.
But that’s just a small sampling of what’s in this one — look for more here on Beckett.com between now and the product’s release.

I had a bit of a 7th grade giggle when I read the term “fist-o-graphs.
Cool set though.
The fistograph is amazing. It falls into the catagory of I can’t bellive that they hadn’t alraedy though of that. It is just too perfect for an MMA or boxing card.
will the KO redemptions from 2010-11 be fulfilled before the next KO set???
get goin Topps! you’re ruining customer confidence with all these redemptions and swapping them out with lower value cards :(
topps ko still owes me a shogun base auto, ben henderson relic atuo . All those damaged cards i sent in fill my order first topps
Topps, How about fulfilling the first series of Between the round redemptions before using the material for this set?
Judging from what I see on this page…last years Knockout card design was much better.
Ummm.. Did Topps just steal Panini’s Notable Nicknames insert just because Panini doesn’t make UFC cards yet? Shouldn’t that be trademarked or something? But seriously, I don’t even follow UFC and I want a Fist-o-graph.
