If you have card No. 5, then you have No.7.

Topps has announced its fifth HTA Prime 9 card of the year, and it’s Mickey Mantle who is the newest player to be part of its hobby shop redemption card program.

All collectors who found a Week 5 redemption card in their 2012 Topps packs (two per hobby or HTA Jumbo box) can exchange their cards for the Chrome Refractor seen here at a participating hobby shop.

Topps will announce the remaining nine Home Run Legends each Friday.

RECAP
Week 5 — Mickey Mantle
Week 4 — Reggie Jackson
Week 3 — Hank Aaron
Week 2 — Babe Ruth
Week 1 — Willie Mays

Great promtion if i could actually get the cards. My card shop in town has told me that many dealer did not get there cards and that we should just hold are cards. I bought a number of boxes and got all but 2 weeks numbers and todate have still to be able to get one redeamed. Guess its not at good as promoted.

same thing in my area…..the ONE & ONLY SHOP (and part time at best !!) hasnt got anything from Topps-so I suggested he call them…….but even if he does, its too late for me !! After I purchased them and now this.

I didnt think Id ever say this……but, welcome Panini and Im sorry to see you end up in the afterthought like Upper Deck ended up-but I guess you wont ever listen to the consumer and your 2012 product is not impressive Topps and if thats what all your 2012 products are going to offer (or not offer…..I should say), then I can not waste any money on this years crap and actually work on some older stuff (you know…..2011 or even possibly 2010 !!)….which will make my girlfriends jaw drop-since I rarely do that

You’ve got the wrong card number in this story. The Mantle card is actually numbered HRL #6, not 7.
