JaMarcus Russell's Better Days
The precipitous plummet of JaMarcus Russell in Oakland places him prominently in the conversation of biggest busts in NFL history. Clearly, he’s had better days than the one he experienced Thursday, when the Raiders cut the first player taken in the 2007 NFL Draft.
We’ll chose to remember the May 2007 version of Russell (pictured here), the Beckett-clutching behemoth with unlimited potential who was BMOC at the 2007 NFL Players Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles. How hot was he at the time? Worthy of gracing the cover of that month’s Beckett Football.
