If you haven’t seen previews for the upcoming movie The Spirit (the latest from Frank Miller, the guy who created Sin City and 300), don’t worry, you will.

What you may not have seen is that the movie, which opens on Christmas Day (see the trailer here), will have a trading card set produced by Inkworks.

While an autograph lineup has not yet been set, according to Inkworks’ Andy Modlin, the cast for this movie is full of performers whose signatures would be in demand.

Who might end up in the set?

Gabriel Macht. He’s the lead — so if you don’t know him now, you will.

Scarlett Johansson. Do I need to say anything here, guys?

Samuel L. Jackson. If you don’t know who he is, you may not have a pulse. And have you seen what his Star Wars autographs sell for on eBay?

Eva Mendes. See above.

Jaime King. You might remember her from Sin City or Pearl Harbor.

Dan Lauria. Remember the dad from The Wonder Years? That’s him.

Paz Vaga. In Spanglish with Adam Sandler and the star of several foreign films.

What has been announced is the Pieceworks (memorabilia card) checklist:

— Coat worn by Gabriel Macht as The Spirit
— Wetsuit worn by Eva Mendes as Sand Seref
— Skirt worn by Paz Vega as Plaster of Paris
— Pimp Coat worn by Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus
— Coat worn by Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus
— (dual) Robe worn by Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus and robe worn by Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss
— Sweater worn by Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss
— Coat worn by Sarah Paulson as Ellen
— Shirt worn by Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus
— Robe worn by Samuel L. Jackson as The Octopus
— Robe worn by Scarlett Johansson as Silken Floss

Even if Inkworks doesn’t get all of the big-name autographs for the set (and they may not), the Pieceworks cards should be of interest to many collectors. The product is set for release in December.
