“Never tell me the odds!”
Stars Wars fans might recognize that line as one of Han Solo’s finest.
Card collectors might repeat that when looking for Harrison Ford autographs in the newest Star Wars product.
Topps’ Star Wars Galactic Files came out last week and one of the hottest cards is Ford’s signature.
Ford has several certified autographs on the market, starting with 2008 Stars Wars 30th Anniversary Autographs. He also had autograph cards in a 2008 Indiana Jones product from Topps, which book for $3,000 or more.
Ford is one of the most popular actors. He played memorable characters such as Han Solo and Indiana Jones, but he also played Jack Ryan in Clear and Present Danger and Patriot Games, and starred in The Fugitive, Blade Runner and The Frisco Kid.
He is set to play Branch Rickey in 42, a biographical film about Jackie Robinson due out next year.
Ford’s newest autograph appeals to a number of collecting groups such as basic card collectors, movie buffs and Star Wars fanatics.
The first of Ford’s Star Wars Galactic Files autos sold on eBay for $5,400, and there are just four others currently listed on the auction site with asking prices of $4,000 and higher.
His most recent autograph cards, most of which were numbered to three of fewer, appeared in 2012 Pop Century. His most attainable autograph seems to be from 2011 Pop Century, which has a book value of $400-$600.

His auto in the 30th aniversery set was epic. It’s like the Honus Wagner of Star Wars cards!
