The next Donruss Americana product arrives next year — can you name the former Baywatch actress shown here signing for the set?

FInd out the answer — after the jump.

It’s Erika Eleniak, a former Playboy model who has made several movie and television appearances through the years, including The Beverly Hillbillies and Under Siege.

Now, she’ll have her first widely produced trading cards — both autographed and memorabilia cards as she provided clothing to be used for the set.

Question — Who would you want to see in the set? Let us know.

Chris Olds has collected sports cards and memorabilia since 1987. Before coming to Beckett Media, he wrote about the hobby for the Orlando Sentinel on his blog, SportsStuff, and for the San Antonio Express-News and The Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News. I would like to see actors and celebrities who have actually had a job within the past 5 years included in the set. And VH! surreal life doesn’t count. How much is DLP charging for a box of this stuff? If I spent $100 on a box and pulled autos of Erika Eleniak, Vanilla Ice, or Gary Coleman I’d be pissed.

But who would you WANT to see? That’s what’s interesting about these kinds of sets — the sheer variety of what’s possible.

And, as another thought, just because someone had a role in the last five years doesn’t make them a good addition, either. Some of the Star Wars and Star Trek cast members have regularly appeared at comic book shows over the years or in the last few years — and have signed so much stuff — you can regularly get their autographs for a lot less than the pack price.

Believe it or not, a past co-worker of mine actually got me a Vanilla Ice autograph in person. Unfortunately I never picked it up — it’s probably still hanging on her refrigerator door.

    Send it over!

This is really digging deep to be cooler-than-the-rest, but a buddy of mine got to sing “Ice, Ice, Baby” with him- on stage at a concert – long story. Oh, and I once saw him in the LA airport.

    Am I cool? Am I?

Does he go just by “Ice” now or was that a Puff Daddy type of thing?

As for Americana, the set needs to have more photos from recognizable shows (which I imagine is impossible due to licensing?) rather than random shots. This set should not have stickers either. These should be on card!

I concur on the images — having photos from their most recognizable roles would be ideal, but that’s a licensing ($$) nightmare.

Seeing her sign stickers is almost as painful as seeing what age has done since her days as a true hottie.
