Free Price Wednesday: Chris Kreider in Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey
By Susan Lulgjuraj | Beckett Hockey Editor
Prices for Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey has been updated in Beckett’s online pride guide.
The most popular cards from the set are the Young Guns and the UD Canvas Young Guns.
Seems like good timing to have Upper Deck in the system, especially with the return of Free Price Wednesday.
Every Wednesday, we’ll look at a popular card, player or set and show values from Beckett’s OPG.
One card that jumps out from the Young Guns subset is New York Rangers Chris Kreider. His Rookie Card currently has a value of $20-$40 in the Beckett OPG. Kreider’s canvas card jumps to $25-$50.
Other popular Young Guns include Sven Baertschi ($12-$30) and Jaden Schwartz ($6-$15). Their respective canvas versions are valued at $20-$40 and $10-$25.
Kreider is certainly the most popular rookie in the set. Here’s a look at his other cards in 2012-13 Upper Deck Series 1:
– Upper Deck Exclusives /100 $40-$100
– Upper Deck Silver Skates #SS32 $6-$15
– Upper Deck Silver Skates Gold #SS32 $20-$50

Was Kreider in the series 2 of the UD 11 12 product and if so should that be his rookie and how much is that worth!
He was not, according to the Beckett database. Kreider wasn’t called up until last season’s playoffs. His first cards appear in 2012-13 products.
