First Look: 2012-13 Panini Threads basketball
By Chris Olds | Beckett Basketball Editor
Panini America premiered its third NBA product for 2012-13 on Wednesday, and it’s one that will include a little hardwood when it arrives in October.
It’s Threads, and it will arrive on Oct. 3 packing 100 Rookie Cards printed on wood stock — each with on-card signatures, too.
Each 24-pack box will include an assortment of cards from the 150-card base set and an array of inserts. But most importantly it will include three autographs and one memorabilia card. (Need a checklist or an OPG for a past Panini Threads release? Click here.)
Among the signed cards in this one will be Team Threads, Rookie Team Threads and Private Signings. Memorabilia cards will include Authentic Threads — with standard and prime versions — as well as Triple Threads (no, not those) and a prime version of those as well.
Other inserts will include Century Greats and High Flyers.

Errr, correction. 150 card base set. :)
They look pretty decent and would LOVE to have the rookies on wood stock. I wish there was a product that was solely wood stock.
Talk about BLAH!!!!
On card?
You mean someone FINALLY has started to listen?
Looks better than the last Threads release!
price point?
Panini does not announce SRPs. Should be in the ballpark same amount as past years.
