First look: 2009 Goudey Baseball

Upper Deck released images and basic set information for its 2009 Goudey baseball set on Friday, meaning the throwback to the 1930s will be around for the third consecutive year.

The basic set will consist of 200 standard cards while there will be 20 short-prints, 40 Sports Royalty cards and 40 cards emulating the 1938 Goudey Heads-up set.

Autographed and memorabilia cards will be found one per box with eight SPs per box and nine Upper Deck 20th Anniversary insert cards per box.

Each case will include one 1933 Goudey Buyback, one Upper Deck 20th Anniversary Memorabilia card and Sport Royalty Autograph card.
