Exclusive First Look: 2010 Press Pass Football
Press Pass officials on Thursday morning provided an appetite-whetting early look at 2010 Press Pass Football, a product due out March 31 and buoyed by what many expect to be one of the most spectacular draft classes in recent memory.
The preview includes America’s first glimpse of licensed trading cards featuring collegiate superstars Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford and Jimmy Clausen.
Press Pass’ final product under its expiring CLC licensing agreement will deliver five on-card autographs per box in addition to two Reflectors parallels, two Power Picks and seven Banner Season insert cards.
“Our incredibly popular Red Ink and Inscription variations return for another year to add an exciting and unique chase element for collectors,” said Nick Matijevich, Press Pass’ Director of Product Development. “All cards will prominently feature collegiate logos from the players’ universities.”

I bought a retail box of 2010 Press Pass Football Cards the other day. I’m a pack junkie. I have bought many boxs and packs in my lifetime. I’m 34 yrs old. Anyway, this was the best and luckiest grab off of the shelf I have ever had. Well worth the $20!!! First, I open it up and there is Bradford’s rookie card in the “2 exclusive cards” pack. It’s the one that’s pictured on the box. Best is also in the pack. I won’t be opening that little package. I start opening my packs. I don’t remember the exact order I got these but it went something like this. I pull another Bradford (Power Pick), 2 CJ Spillers, Bradford/McCoy(Teammates), Tim Tebow (All-Conference 063/500)!, 2 Shipleys, Clausen/Tate (teammates), Tebow/Hernandez (Teammates), and SUH!!! The last card I pulled was Jarred Brown. It was nice to get a Mountaineer. Hope he does something. Oh yeah, I do remember what I got in the sixth pack I opened–Tim Tebow Autograph #2 of 25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would have thought the #2 of 25 would end up in a retail store in Princeton, WV!!! Thanks for the excitement. I really needed something good to happen to me. I’ve been going through some tough times recently. Well, gotta go. I just had to tell somebody how freakin’ cool it was to get that lucky and that the 02/25 Tebow card is no longer out there. I got it! I’m not even a Gators fan. I’m a die hard WV Mountaineer fan. He’s a damn tough player though and I hope he does great in the NFL. Especially now. Go Tebow!! And all the other guys I got too!!!
