Join Beckett Sports Card Monthly‘s Chris Olds as he breaks five boxes of cards from several sports as part of the Steel City Collectibles 100-Box Giveaway that starts today.

Beginning right here at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. Eastern) on Wednesday, he’ll be breaking five boxes and for predetermined winners as part of the 100-box event — but there will be a box of 2014 Topps Archives baseball cards broken that will be up for grabs for all of our viewers at the end of the event.

How can you win? Watch the video and leave a comment as is requested. We’ll pick a winner randomly from all received before Aug. 15.

He’ll be fielding your questions during the break on Twitter — so send your questions to him @chrisolds2009.

Can’t wait till they bring this event to Texas. Forget a 100 boxes we’ll do a 1,000 boxes, because in Texas we do things other Americans feel is obscene like were born with it. Go big or go home.

Will there ever be printing plates issued to football, basketball, and hockey or is it only to baseball?

Always enjoy the Box Busters video, it helps me determine how much I want to spend on each product. As a collector who only buys MLB and values the official license, it’s only Topps for me, so these allow me to determine how much I want to invest in each product.

    Roger Dorn.

Because, the dude wound up loosing his wife, then went to LA to be a lawyer, then wound up in Santa Barbara as a cop. He then retired and his son faked being a Psychic detective which got him shot.

How could I not the autograph of someone that well traveled?

You pulled a Major League autograph of Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernsen). I should get the box because I’ve been a fan of Bernsen’s ever since the opening scene of L.A. Law.
He had dibs on his dead partner’s office. I’ve got dibs on his auto.

I love the Major League cards. Allen & Ginter’s has the non-baseball cards, but these are technically non-baseball cards while still being baseball cards. It’s pretty cool and I’ve always loved the movie so it would be a great add to my collection as I haven’t pulled any Major League auto to this point.

Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernson) auto is really nice!

I want to win this because every time I buy a hobby box of cards I get autos of name name guys/un drafted free agents in football, or non-star veterans. I want to pull awesome autos like this, but my ripping luck is pretty awful. This would help even out my poor box busting luck.

    Thank you!

You pulled Roger Dorn (real name Corbin Bernson) as your Major League autograph!

I would love to have the card as Major League is my favorite movie. One tradition of mine is watching Major League on the way to The National! I haven’t gotten a chance to open any Archives yet and pull an autograph of some of my favorite movie characters, so winning this would be an absolutely amazing piece to add to my growing collection!

    Thank you for the contest!

The Autos pulled were, Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernson) & John Olerud. I deserve these cards cause I’m I live close to Cleveland, (Pirates fan) & I just watched a Kraft macaroni & cheese commercial with Vanilla Ice & a Mom dancing to Go Ninga go Ninga go. Receiving these cards will help me cope with that stress.

You pulled Roger Dorn AKA Corbin Bernsen AKA Artie Becker. I was going to make up some wild story why I deserve the auto. I’ll spare you the details and state my case plainly.

First, I tried to pull one of these autos on my own. I am not a prize hound. Unfortunately, I can’t afford $125 for a hobby box. I bought two boxes or so when they first came out, but didn’t pull a Major League auto. Instead, I pulled Dave Parker, Mel S., Ron Gant, and Mike Greenwell.

Most importantly, I feel I deserve the auto because I am good for #TheHobby. I give away cards like they’re candy. I’m not just talking base cards either. For example, I pulled a George Springer auto in a Panini USA Champions box. That went straight to @swlvguy, because he is a huge Astros fan. I also pulled a nice Gary Carter auto /100 out of an old retail box of Absolute. That too, went to @swlvguy. Reds hits go to @jeffgranger, Twins go to @junkwaxtwins, Tigers get sent to @detroitbrooks. The list goes on an on. Ask any of these people on Twitter and they will vouch for me. I’m a good guy. Hopefully, karma will be on my side.
