Join Beckett Sports Card Monthly‘s Bryan Hornbeck and Chris Olds as they rip into boxes of 2012 SP Game-used golf cards from Upper Deck in this latest edition of Box Busters.
What will they find inside? Watch and find out …
I’m going to assume the persimmon cards are parallels to the Inked Drivers. Back when woods were made of wood, they used persimmon wood quite often.
U.D. did a nice job with these
Persimmon wood was also heavily used in making the highest-quality heads of the golf clubs known as “woods” until the golf industry moved primarily to metal woods in the last years of the 20th century. In fact, the first metal woods made by Taylor Made, an early pioneer of that club type, were branded as “Pittsburgh Persimmons”. Persimmon woods are still made, but in far lower numbers than in past decades.
Rory has 1 card and it’s an insert Not A RC . Nice Ud the wheels are turning gotta reoup some cash b4 everyone figures out no Rory auto or game used.
I’ll Wait till dust settles and buy singles on Ebay. I do agree a nice job w rc auto mems but shame no Rory auto’s.
never were rory autos or relics in the buildup. pay attention and dont be a putz!
they do have rory stuff at the ud mem store!
Same ol drivel. Thanks Buster for your terrific ‘never-said-before’ commentary. I’ll just keep saying the same thing too, you’re a giant useless troll. This product is a hit, and despite their lack of licenses for the other major sports leagues, they continue to put out quality products that people seem to enjoy. So every time you spew your hatred, you just come off sounding utterly wrong, out of touch, and completely immature.
UD happens to send a “random box” to break for the world to see….Rory 1:4 cases….Just like Adrian Peterson 1/1 exquisite…the two MJ auto breaks from one exquisite box!!!
