A look at 2010 National Treasures Football's memorabilia

Panini America released more than just a sneak peek today. They provided images that practically have Sirens singing in the backgrounds.
They released a gallery of photos of the some of the game-used memorabilia that will become part of 2010 National Treasures Football.
And the expectations will be high after this.
Some of the swatches are from the league’s top players. Others are from some of the most sought after football stars. Either way, the product is on its way to becoming something football die-hard fans are going to chase after.
See a gallery of game-used swatches after the jump.
Many of the game-used pieces are going to be part of the rarest cards to come out of the March product. They will be included in inserts such as Rookie Materials Black 1/1 and Rookie Signature Gold inserts.
Panini points out the adhesive on the back of many of the swatches and it’s not just for conventional purposes.
“It’s part of a proprietary cataloging system that enables us to verify the integrity of every swatch we produce,” Panini’s Tracy Hackler said.
LOL, I bet Hackler is going nuts lookin @ those Tebow Shields
So when Beckett, I mean Panini, puts jersey swatches in cards it is the second coming of Christ, but when Topps does it many consider it blah… I don’t get it…. I heard Panini received a bunch of knee pads as well but rather then chop them up they are putting them to use since Tracy’s knees are getting banged up….
From mod: Hackler works for Panini now … and he’s their behind the scenes guy generating the videos. Topps is not doing these types of vids.
Would be exciting if not for the fact that none of those “relics” in any of those pictures were ever used in an actual game. The rubes who buy photo shoot stuff amuse me…
