If you missed the show of all shows, Topps has two show-only releases that you can still get — at least for a limited time.

Three limited sets of 5-by-7 baseball cards — one featuring notable Chicago icons and the other featuring game’s biggest young stars on High Tek stock — were only found at the National Sports Collectors Convention but now are available now on Topps.com. Two other sets showcase young stars of the NFL.

The Tek sets were sold at the show for $49.99 with star rookies Kris Bryant or Addison Russell leading the way for baseball. There were 1/1 Gold cards randomly inserted into the sets at the show for both the baseball and football releases and every set includes one card that is limited to only 50 copies.

Set A’s checklist includes:
Kris Bryant
Noah Syndegaard
Carlos Correa
Francisco Lindor
Maikel Franco
Chase: Mike Trout, Frank Thomas, Mariano Rivera, Nolan Ryan

Set B’s checklist includes:
Addison Russell
Carlos Rodon

Couldn’t give them all away, so now they sell them? Disgusting what Topps will do to make a buck. NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From Olds: These sets were sold at the show, not given away.

The only problem with these is that they’re oversized which makes them harder to store and display. I don’t know if most collector have a big space to put all these on a shelf. I guess they’re good to get autographed but they don’t fit in my collecting space.
