For a set that’s largely about photographs, the 2017 Topps Stadium Club MLS variations offer up even more action images. But spotting the 20 short prints isn’t necessarily the easiest, especially because almost every card in the base set already comes with a standout shot.

So we’ve made it easy for.

The 20 SSP cards come with the same design as the 2017 Topps Stadium Club MLS base set. However, the photo has been switched out for another one.

But that’s not the only way to identify them.

How to Spot 2017 Topps Stadium Club MLS Variations

The photo is the obvious way to identify one of the 2017 Topps Stadium Club MLS SSPs. However, there’s another way that might be even easier, especially if you’re busting a box or sorting some packs.

If you flip the card over, there’s a bunch of fine print on the back. Generally, you don’t need to worry about this as it’s primarily copyright info and legal stuff that isn’t exciting. When you get to the end there’s a long code. It’s not meant for collectors but these codes can confirm base cards from variations.

If the code ends in 541, it’s the common base card. If it finishes with 557, it’s a 2017 Stadium Club MLS variation.

My #100 Jordan Morris Card has a Topps code on the back ending with 7010. What is this?
