Three’s company for 2016 Leaf Trinity Football. The all-autograph brand returns with a trio of distinct styles of prospect autographs, each with their own high-end angle. And while the configuration remains the same, things do look noticeably different this time around.

From an appearance standpoint, Trinity Autographs are the most basic of the three card types. What will make many of them stand out, though, is the addition of short inscriptions to go with the signatures.

Patch Autographs are back. The signatures are joined by a large patch from a jersey worn by the player.

The biggest change in 2016 Leaf Trinity Football comes with the third autograph. Since the brand’s debut, this spot has been occupied by an insert called Pure. These were made with a thick plexiglass-like stock. They’re being replaced by Clear Autographs. The see-through nature still exists, but if other Leaf Clear cards are any indication, the approach is based more in acetate. According to Leaf, the change was made to improve condition and durability.

Leaf needs more recognition of how much intone they are with collectors. Leaf is the only company that is making a good card at realistic prices. If Topps or Panini made the same products as Leaf they would be charging three times as much. Big Leaf supporter and hoping one day they get a license in baseball or football to make cards in player uniforms.

Just started seriously collecting again with my son and hands down the best product out there. 2015 leaf Trinity was such a good product I no longer look at purchasing any product other than Trinity.
