2016 Bowman Inception Baseball is focused primarily on three things: young players, autographs and abstract designs. Actually, this has been the brand’s niche since it debuted. Although the spotlight is still on rookies and prospects, more veterans have been added to the product compared to past years.

2016-Bowman-Inception-Baseball-Header

Every card in the product has an autograph. Five-card boxes deliver four regular autographs and one autographed memorabilia card.

The majority of cards in 2016 Bowman Inception are the basic Prospect Autographs and Rookie Autographs. Both come with on-card signatures. Designs have a similar feel, although they’re alignments are flipped. Prospects have a vertical look while rookies are horizontal.

2016 Bowman Inception Baseball Prospect Autograph

Both have five parallels, all of which are serial numbered: Blue, Green, Gold (/25), Orange (/5), and one-of-one Red.

2016 Bowman Inception Baseball Rookie Autograph Blue

New Dawn is a new autograph set with plans on continuing it over multiple years. The focus of the checklist is on elite prospects. These are also hard-signed and have Red (1/1) parallels.

Inceptionized Autographs have separate autographs for veterans and prospects. For vets, their first Bowman cards have been recreated with the distinct Inception photo filter. Inceptionized Prospect Autographs are inserted one per case. These take the filtered look to the players’ 2016 Bowman Baseball cards. Both Inceptionized sets have Orange (/5) and Red (1/1) parallels. Prospects also have Orange (/25) versions.

Origins Autographs feature prospects, rookies and veterans. All are numbered and have on-card signatures. Orange (/5) and Red (1/1) parallels exist for these as well.

The one-per-box autographed memorabilia cards come in a couple of different forms. Autograph Relics have basic game-used jersey swatches for rookies and prospects. The parallel structure here is similar to basic Prospect and Rookie Autographs.

Autograph Jumbo Patch cards have a larger game-used swatch that’s also from a more premium part of the jersey. Orange (/5) and Red (1/1) parallels both return along with new Gold (/25) versions.

Veteran Autograph Relics are new to 2016 Bowman Inception Baseball. These are numbered and have Orange (/5) and Red (1/1) versions.

Future Stars Autograph Relics come with pieces from 2015 Futures Game Jerseys. The only parallels here are one-of-one Jersey Tags.

Autograph Logo Patch cards are all one-of-ones and have a MLB Silhouetted Batter logo.

Rounding out the rarities in 2016 Bowman Inception Baseball are Autographed Letter Book cards. These come with a full letter from a jersey.

“For vets, their first Bowman cards have been recreated with the distinct Inception photo filter.”

lolololol. Seriously? Oh my… hold on’… Someone hold my drink… My sides hurt so much from laughing.

Did they seriously just “Gypsy Queen” Bowman Inception?

That Correa card just looks ridiculous.

If I ever buy a case with 40 cards inside, I’ll question my value of money. These look cool, but I suspect they are insanely overpriced – and only because they did not print a lot of them. This is a funny industry, “If I make less of something, it’s worth more money than if I make more of exactly the same thing. And I can actually do this, get away with it, and keep some of my customers.” Imagine if you went to IHOP, ordered some pancakes, and your waiter said, “We’re only making 25 today, and each one costs $10.” I’ve been finding myself focusing on older cards a lot lately just because these new cards are becoming so dumb.

Nice looking cards, but def. a product to buy via group breaks or on the secondary market. The New Dawn looks awesome………

Jonathan seriously do you not collect anything at all. That is the point of value in collecting… Rarity. What’s funny is food is even the same way look at caviar. It’s rare and it costs more than most foods. Look at the eighties sports card market you have some of the greatest players and their cards are worth next to nothing cause of huge print runs. Cards have become fun again chasing that 1 of 5. Plus they also keep their value now. I’ll pay more for limited print runs hoping that if a player I get makes the hall his cards will be worth more than making noise in my kids bike spokes.

I got the quad with kuekel, sale, synd. And degrom. Does it being numerous 1 of 10 make it more valuable and I can’t seem to find a price on this card. Can anyone help?
