Topps recently lost a pioneer in former executive Sy Berger, who helped create the famed 1952 Topps set.

Now, collectors can get him on a new card as part of the 1951 Sy Berger Tribute Collection, an offering in Topps’ wall art series.

Only available on, these 10- by 14-inch posters are limited to only 99 serial-numbered copies and showcase players from the past and present. They are $29.99 apiece.

A set of 5-by-7 smaller pieces is available for $49.99 and it includes every player in two different offerings — a set of Blue backs for retired stars and a set of Red backs for active players.

Among the past greats are Ernie Banks, Tom Seaver, Johnny Bench and Nolan Ryan, while modern-day inclusions are Mike Trout, Bryce Harper and the reigning American League Rookie of the Year, Jose Abreu.

Is it just me or would it have been more fitting to have done this in the 1952 Topps design that Berger actually helped create? Just saying.
