Coming soon to the long-collected and often-autographed Hall of Fame plaque postcards are these six players as released Sunday by the Baseball Hall of Fame …
Look for a behind-the-scenes story about how the Hall’s plaques are made in the next issue of Beckett Baseball.
i like the football hall of fame busts more
I am glad Maddux went in without a team logo I have been a fan since he was in chicago. I did get to see him pitch for atlanta twice and it was a thrill for me. As much as I am a chicago fan if he had went in with the braves logo i would have totally understood. In theory he probably should have but he chose to go logo less. Which leaves him part of all our teams even those that are on the west coast lol
I miss watching him pitch. I have had two favorite baseball players and they are opposite sides of the spectrum. Maddux and PETE rose. I have not found that baseball player to replace maddux yet for me but we will see.
I will have to find the maddux single of this postcard.
People at one of my local card shops thought that I was crazy when I said several years ago that Greg Maddux was a first ballot Hall of Famer. Congratulation to all six of these players and coaches.
