Join Beckett Sports Card Monthly‘s Chris Olds as he breaks five boxes of cards from several sports as part of the Steel City Collectibles 100-Box Giveaway that starts today.
Beginning right here at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. Eastern) on Wednesday, he’ll be breaking five boxes and for predetermined winners as part of the 100-box event — but there will be a box of 2014 Topps Archives baseball cards broken that will be up for grabs for all of our viewers at the end of the event.
How can you win? Watch the video and leave a comment as is requested. We’ll pick a winner randomly from all received before Aug. 15.
He’ll be fielding your questions during the break on Twitter — so send your questions to him @chrisolds2009.
You have this as Wednesday, is it today (Tuesday)?
This is a pretty cool promotion. How are the rest of the 100 box’s giveaway going to be given away?
Please sign me up. looks like I will be on the Porch for about 8 weeks. The Doctor will be cuting me from Driving during this time and has already cut my Wings to Las Vegas in November.
I can never get the words correct. Sign me up
However said less is more was definitely not a cardboard freak. It’s going to be a great cardboard ripping eye candy event.
Can’t wait till they bring this event to Texas. Forget a 100 boxes we’ll do a 1,000 boxes, because in Texas we do things other Americans feel is obscene like were born with it. Go big or go home.
Will there ever be printing plates issued to football, basketball, and hockey or is it only to baseball?
Looking forward to hanging out and watching.
happy anniversary Beckett have been loyal to you for thirty plus years
Can’t wait to see this. Sign me up

Archives! WILD THING!!!!
It’s to high. It’s just to high.
Does a product exist that it more fun to open than Topps Archives? I don’t think so.
Do you like Fritos on your sub? Or Okra?
Love watching your box buster breaks!
First timer! This is pretty cool.
These are always a blast. Thanks Chris, Beckett and Steel City Collectibles.
keep up the good work chris
Love retro products like Archives and Turkey Red!
Chris Olds+Ripping Wax=An awesome day
Sign me up! Love cards. Love Chris. Love Beckett Baseball. Keep all my cards organized there.
Archives baseball seems to offer less and less for the money every year.
Chris did you see Nick Swisher’s reaction to the LeBron signing and the Indians win that day? Priceless. Sign me up for the giveaway.
Checking in. Pretty cool break.
Always enjoy the Box Busters video, it helps me determine how much I want to spend on each product. As a collector who only buys MLB and values the official license, it’s only Topps for me, so these allow me to determine how much I want to invest in each product.
Pretty sweet cards you’ve pull so far
I hope you get the wild thing!!!
Does this count as my comment?
My nickname is Roger Dorn!
Fun rip, thanks.
Because, the dude wound up loosing his wife, then went to LA to be a lawyer, then wound up in Santa Barbara as a cop. He then retired and his son faked being a Psychic detective which got him shot.
How could I not the autograph of someone that well traveled?
Roger Dorn Retired Indians Third Baseman new owner after the TOXIC Mrs. Phelps had enough. my favorite show of all time go wild thing
You pulled a Major League autograph of Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernsen). I should get the box because I’ve been a fan of Bernsen’s ever since the opening scene of L.A. Law.
He had dibs on his dead partner’s office. I’ve got dibs on his auto.
I love the Major League cards. Allen & Ginter’s has the non-baseball cards, but these are technically non-baseball cards while still being baseball cards. It’s pretty cool and I’ve always loved the movie so it would be a great add to my collection as I haven’t pulled any Major League auto to this point.
I still think Archives is one of the most fun breaks of the year.
I love Topps Archives. I want in on this contest.
Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernson) auto is really nice!
I want to win this because every time I buy a hobby box of cards I get autos of name name guys/un drafted free agents in football, or non-star veterans. I want to pull awesome autos like this, but my ripping luck is pretty awful. This would help even out my poor box busting luck.
Great breaks Chris! Loge watching Box Busters on beckett.com
Major league Pull was Roger Dorn !! I would like to win the archive giveaway because , (1) I don’t have and 2014 Archive, (2) two I think the Movie Major League is Cool, (3) three I watch all of Beckett Breaks on YouTube to get product info and to see what’s new in the card world, (4) Four I took the time to Number each thought and best yet at 6:13am EST (5) five that’s five ?!? Yeah that’s reason (5) five lol Thanks Chris for making videos even on vacation, the one time you could do a thing but you still choose to throw up a fresh new video !!
You pulled – Roger Dorn / Corbin Bernsen.
I would like to win this so that I can trade it to Chris Olds if he does not have it to continue his quest to complete the set. :-)
As always….great watching the break. Thanks for doing this. Nice looking cards in Archives. Gave up other sports years ago but still enjoy looking at the cards. Great stuff. Again Thanks!
You pulled Roger Dorn (real name Corbin Bernson) as your Major League autograph!
I would love to have the card as Major League is my favorite movie. One tradition of mine is watching Major League on the way to The National! I haven’t gotten a chance to open any Archives yet and pull an autograph of some of my favorite movie characters, so winning this would be an absolutely amazing piece to add to my growing collection!
Thank you for the contest!
I love the box breaks Chris, thanks for the opportunity to win the box.
Oh sorry, the major league auto was Roger Dorn.
I just want the filler cards! Good video. You going to the National?
Roger Dorn rules! Really liked the video. I watched the replay over two days during lunch breaks. Chris, move that trash can!
The Autos pulled were, Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernson) & John Olerud. I deserve these cards cause I’m I live close to Cleveland, (Pirates fan) & I just watched a Kraft macaroni & cheese commercial with Vanilla Ice & a Mom dancing to Go Ninga go Ninga go. Receiving these cards will help me cope with that stress.
sign me up ready to rip cards too love watching these
Roger Dorn auto card pulled played by Corbin Bernsen
Roger Dorn was the Major League auto pulled.
Here is a video of why I think I should win the auto and the Archives box:
You pulled Roger Dorn AKA Corbin Bernsen AKA Artie Becker. I was going to make up some wild story why I deserve the auto. I’ll spare you the details and state my case plainly.
First, I tried to pull one of these autos on my own. I am not a prize hound. Unfortunately, I can’t afford $125 for a hobby box. I bought two boxes or so when they first came out, but didn’t pull a Major League auto. Instead, I pulled Dave Parker, Mel S., Ron Gant, and Mike Greenwell.
Most importantly, I feel I deserve the auto because I am good for #TheHobby. I give away cards like they’re candy. I’m not just talking base cards either. For example, I pulled a George Springer auto in a Panini USA Champions box. That went straight to @swlvguy, because he is a huge Astros fan. I also pulled a nice Gary Carter auto /100 out of an old retail box of Absolute. That too, went to @swlvguy. Reds hits go to @jeffgranger, Twins go to @junkwaxtwins, Tigers get sent to @detroitbrooks. The list goes on an on. Ask any of these people on Twitter and they will vouch for me. I’m a good guy. Hopefully, karma will be on my side.
Who won the cointest did you annouce it someplace.
