Join Beckett Sports Card Monthly‘s Matt Bible and Chris Olds as they rip into boxes of 2014 SP Game-used Edition golf in this latest edition of Box Busters.
What will they find inside? Watch and find out …
sweet box you pulled chris
First – The Leaderboard Letters are NOT from actual leaderboards! They are MANUFACTURED letters, still phenomenal cards nonetheless, just wanted to correct you on that.
Second – The only card (I think) Rory McIlroy had in 2012 was the short printed rookie (SP1), no mem or autos. 2014 SPGU and SPAuthentic are the first products he’s really shown up in for mem and autos. Well, if you don’t count Leaf and their “cut auto” stuff.
Third – Just wanted to add – Average for a box has been about $175-180 near me. Not far off but not quite the $200+ you mentioned in the video.
I will say, I’ve opened 5 boxes so far, and it’s pretty feast-or-famine, but still a pretty good break for overall value. I just suggest saving up for a mini case at least, not single boxes…
