By Susan Lulgjuraj | Beckett Football Editor

Panini’s 2014 Score Football will have new features added to its retail set.

2014 Score Football will have 24 packs of 12 cards each in every box. Collectors should find one autograph or memorabilia card in each retail box.

The retail boxes will have more inserts that last year. Overall, collectors should find 15 inserts, four parallels and six Hot Rookies retail cards in every box.

Inserts include Brothers in Arms (with a Gold parallel), Franchise, Behind the the Numbers, Air Mail, Destination End Zone, Numbers Game, Complete Players, Field Commanders.

The base cards will have seven parallels: Scorecard (1 in 12 packs), Showcase (numbered to 99), Gold Zone (numbered to 50), Artist’s Proof (numbered to 35), Red Zone (numbered to 20), End Zone (numbered to 6), and Gem Masters (1-of-1).

Check Beckett.com for more information on 2014 Score Retail as it becomes available.

Bodie

one thing i hate about card companies is that they separate products for retail and hobby. they should add autos and big hits to retail products just like the hobby boxes

Actually Bodie, they do. Just not a one=per-pack or one-per-box basis like hobby packs and boxes. I went to my local Wal-Mart and got a rak pack of 2013 Score for a reduced price of $3.75 and got a Blue parallel Eric Fisher Auto that books on Beckett for $25.00. So, you can find good stuff in retail. I have also found that 2013 Topps SPs come one per retail box but that is another topic for another post…Happy card Hunting! :)

Noticed that some of the Hot 100 cards have a white border and some have a silver foil border without numbering, not the Scorecard. Is this a Hobby Retail version or is it something else ?

Waste of money for a box. Nothing special about these cards. I guess I should have known paying $30 a box.
