Panini adds a twist to Titanium Basketball retail packs

By Susan Lulgjuraj | Beckett Basketball Editor

Collectors buying retail packs of 2013-14 Titanium Basketball will notice something different from its hobby counterpart.

Along with a configuration of one pack for $20, there will be five different versions of Titanium Rookie Memorabilia cards. Each retail pack will come with two of these cards, two base and one numbered star or Rookie Card, Panini announced on Wednesday.

The top 20 rookies will be featured on the different Titanium Rookie Memorabilia card designs with the fifth card being short-printed.

Some of the players include Michael Carter-Williams, Victor Oladipo, Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Nerlen Noels.

Maybe the one jersey color in the photo that is different than the other four is the SP? I’m definitely interested in this product.

opened 2 boxes ….each box had 2 rookie jerseys….. all 4 were sp’s /325 ..plus i got 1 rookie sp from each one of snell and hardaway each one sp /149 ….jersey is all one color but all and all for 40.00 bucks i got 4 rookie jerseys sp /325 and 2 rookie cards sp /149….done much worse on products for sure…..not bad overall and the pack was well protected .its not shiny or reflective but still nice for the price….fairly new collector and have seen much much worse….someone else i know got one and also had 2 rookie jerseys sp /325 but the rest were 3 base cards of veterans one being toni parker sp/149 …so out of the 3 boxes i know of all jerseys are sp /325 and each box comes with at least one other sp..2 boxes were rookies and the other a veteran…
