Card Gallery: 2013 Topps Five Star baseball

5starTroutAU

By Chris Olds | Beckett Baseball Editor

The sophomore release of Topps‘ highest-priced baseball card brand, Five Star, has begun to trickle onto eBay (click to view) with some of the rookie-year concerns alleviated.

Chipping? Not a problem. Silver-ink autographs? Readable and waiting.

And there are also a few surprise redemptions that might make collectors happy if they find them.

Here, you’ll find a gallery of first-day finds — some of the big stuff, of course, has not yet surfaced. Let us know what you think of what you see so far in the comments below or show off what you think is of note.

That NOMAH card is SICK! Any idea if any other players added inscriptions? If so, did they pick the inscriptions themselves, or did Topps tell them what to write?
