Week 3: Monday Morning Collector

By Susan Lulgjuraj | Beckett Football Editor

Peyton.

Do I have to say anything more?

He’s been the best player in the NFL so far this early season, perhaps staking claim to the MVP he lost out on last year. Through the first three games, Manning has 12 touchdowns passes.

In Monday night’s 37-21 win over the Oakland Raiders, Peyton Manning completed 32-of-37 throw for 374 yards and three touchdowns. Manning is one of the week’s Veterans of the Week in Monday Morning Collector (by the way, I know it’s Tuesday)

Veterans of the Week

DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas Cowboys

The third-year player had the type of game the Cowboys have hoped for a while. He ran for 175 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries in Dallas’ 31-7 win over the St. Louis Rams.
