For decades, children have enjoyed the art on Topps cards such Garbage Pail Kids and Wacky Packages. As they got older, adults have found the same joy as well.
Many of the GPK and Wacky Packages have become iconic pictures such as Adam Bomb from GPK and Mars Attacks.
Topps is making artists from the newer sets available to fans when the trading card company will offer custom sketch cards from Topps’ artists on its website.
The program starts June 3 with Wacky Packages and each theme will only last for a limited time. The artists will be limited to 100 cards each and it works on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Each month, Topps will offer a different theme such as Garbage Pail Kids and Mars Attacks.
