An Australian won The Masters for the first time on Sunday.
Adam Scott, 32, took home the green jacket after beating Angel Cabrera in a playoff at Augusta National for his first Major win.
Scott’s cardboard career is short and more than 10 years old.
Upper Deck produced cards of Scott in 2001 and 2002 at the start of his professional career.
He did well on the European Tour. Scott got his first PGA Tour win in 2003 at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Norton, Mass.
His cards are affordable, but also hot right now. His 2001 SP Sign of the Times autograph could have been for around $5-$10 before just a couple of days ago. But a major win has quickly jumped his card prices – one auction is nearing $40 with an hour left.
He has just 38 cards in the Beckett database (click here to see a full checklist). Some of his most popular cards include:
–2001 SP Sign of the Times autograph
–2002 Upper Deck Fairway Fabrics Signatures
–2001 SP Authentic #48 /2999 RC
