Total value of all priced cards: $40,878
Average price: $10.70
Highest priced:
– 2013 Topps Chasing History Autographs #SK Sandy Koufax EXCH ($400)
– 2013 Topps Chasing The Dream Autographs #BH Bryce Harper EXCH ($400)
– 2013 Topps World Champion Autograph Relics #BP Buster Posey ($400)
Other notables from Fleischer:
– The first true Rookie Cards for top prospects Jurickson Profar and Dylan Bundy.
– The super-hot World Champion Relics, World Champion Autographs and World Champion Autograph Relics sets.
– Manufactured Relics including the Commemorative Patches, Commemorative Rookie Patches, Cy Young, MVP and Silver Slugger Award Winners and Proven Mettle Coin cards.
Fleischer’s Focus: In case there was any doubt, Topps Series 1 still reigns supreme. In the last two weeks, we’ve gathered and analyzed over 30,000 actual secondary market sales for 2013 Topps Series 1. While the super-high dollar hits may come few and far between, there’s no denying the popularity of the base Topps brand among the collecting community.
Olds’ Opinion: The hobby’s longest-running set has its fans and they have plenty to be happy about in this one with an array of stuff we have seen before and some new touches that we haven’t, including Pink and Camo parallels and a new batch of embedded metal ManuRelics that are even more focused on the game this year. The Chase in this one puts a renewed focus on the game, which this writer appreciates.
