I went to the NFL Experience today and was not impressed with the Topps booth.I enjoyed the Panini booth and there exclusive superbowl set alot more.You 1st had to buy 3 packs of topps football for one of there exclusive superbowl cards.But it got so bad for Topps that they changed it to one pack will get you one exclusive card.They were just not good sellers.Panini won this Superbowl between the booths

Chris above must obviously be cheap. No one expects to be handed something of rarity without being a real collector. I too was at the NFL experience. The TOPPS booth wasn’t cluttered with a plethora of random worthless cards being HANDED out. I didn’t mind purchasing several packs of cards to collect all 5 commemorative cards. To a real collector, price is part of the game.

Honestly I was not impressed with either booth. Both had patch these patch cards that looked nice, and I understand having Drew Brees to cater to the Saints fans, but I was not happy that there were no patch/swatch cards for the Ravens or the 49ers. Was it seriously that hard? Take a look at the teams in the Super Bowl, AFC Championship, or heck the playoffs and make a patch card. I would have bought a patch card of every Ravens player they had because of the Super Bowl and Louisiana patch. I did buy the pack of Ravens cards and asked both tables if they would do a set of the winner as Upper Deck used to do. Both stated no and that there wasn’t a big enough market. I don’t get that because as a Ravens fan, I would buy a set, as I’m sure others would as well, and if the 49ers had won, as a football fan, I would have bought a set. I enjoyed having cards of guys from Super Bowls that didn’t have any other card. Make a limited number set, throw a few autograph or Mem cards in the set and boom, they will sell like wild flowers in my opinion. Don’t mass produce a set with no autographs or mem cards and expect a global product. Not happy with either company or their willingness to listen to the fans.
