One of the hottest rookies this NBA season is Damian Lillard. The Portland Trail Blazers guard is averaging 18.4 points a game, good for top 15 in the league.
Lillard’s card prices are showing off his popularity. Autographs and rare inserts have sold for hundreds making him one of the most sought after players this NBA season.
The Weber State graduate is in a unique situation. He has 77 autographs on the market, but they all come from Leaf. The company signed him to an exclusive autograph deal. The lack of NBA logos – Leaf does not have an NBA license – has not seemed to hurt his cards.
Here’ a look at the HI-book values of Lillard’s top autographs.
But autographs aren’t the only cards collectors are chasing. In fact, the highest valued card of Lillard doesn’t sport any ink at all. His 2012-13 Totally Certified Gold parallel (numbered to 25) and 2012-13 Panini Prizm Green parallel both come in with a HI-book value greater than $300.
When it comes to Lillard’s Rookie Cards, there are not many. Amazingly, he has just four.
