The base cards for the retail version are not die-cut, but do have the same card number as the hobby version. Do NOT be fooled by the retail version, as they are cheaper per pack (and will definitely end up being lower valued in Beckett, once they note the difference). I wish they had made this more well known, as I got suckered into buying a blaster only to open it and realize that none of the cards were die-cut.
