White (U.S. Army) came in my store last Friday. He told me he used to collect but hadn’t bought anything in years. He just got back from Afghanistan and decided it was time to start collecting again. He bought one box of 2012 Topps Platinum Football and carefully open each pack. Near the bottom of the box, one pack had this white card with lots of writing on it. “What is this,” asked Sgt. White. I explained it was a redemption card and explained the process to redeem his card.

“What did I get,” asked Sgt. White. I read the back of the card. It was a 2012 Topps Platinum Football Autographed Rookie Refractor Jumbo Patch Red Shield Robert Griffin III.” Card is a 1/1. Welcome back to collecting Sgt. White.
