What a coincidence., The Babe Ruth signed in sweet spot, while other autos off to the side of the ball. Sorry but I personally don't trust anything associated with Goldin.

I worked at Score Board for a time and can tell you that Walter Payton never signed for Score Board and Score Board never issued a certificate for his item. If someone sold you a Payton autograph with a Score Board cert they defrauded you...NOT score board and not Ken Goldin.
Some forgers have been so bold as to sell Babe Ruth autographs with a Score Board certificate saying 'witnessed under the supervision of score board (a company founded in 1987) Obviously fake and anyone who bought was obviously idiot.
however, as sad as it is , none the fault of Goldin or Score Board.

Do you people not realize or grasp the fact that it is well known that people counterfeited Score Board certs with Goldin name on it and then placed it with items? It still goes on, and there are many cases especially in state of NJ NY and FL where people were prosecuted for forging certficates and using them to sell fake items. Just because an item came with a Score Board certificate sadly it does not mean it was actually sold by Score Board or Goldin. Back them people did not put holograms on their items or their certificates and even today fraudsters still reprint then.
You can be certain companies like Beckett and PSA/DNA would not be promoting the site if the owner of the company ever was known to sell bad autographs. However common sense will not stop some people from trying to damage a reputation based on false facts.

For the record Scott, the infamous Wilt auto had a COA from Goldin at Scoreboard. Twice it was deemed a fake.

Also had a Willie Mays auto on a 1993 UD trade card that I sold on eBay with a COA from Goldin. Also deemed unauthentic. Had to refund the purchase.

Pete Rose auto on 1964 Topps card with COA from Goldin. Also TWICE deemed unauthentic, once by JSA and once by PSA.

Friend of mine has a Walter Payton jersey with an auto certified by Ken Goldin at Scoreboard. Also deemed a fake.

My personal opinion on the evidence I have seen is that he is a con-artist and hope he rots in hell

Actually Mark you are wrong. Score Board always sold legitimate autographed product and paid athletes tens of millions per year for their autograph rights. They famously sued forgers as well as worked with law enforcement to prosecute forgers. .Ken Goldin never was found guilty in federal court of anything and was never tried or accused. Shocking you would make such items up and post publicly . After Score Board went out of business in 1998, sadly forgers have been counterfeiting their certificates so many fake items come with a fake Score Board certificate, which is well known in hobby but may have led to your confusion.
