It would have been nice if Topps sent them to all of the participating hobby stores. Central AL’s only hobby shop did not recieve them it all and I would have to drive 3.5 hours one way to redeem the 9 cards I have. They really should have done this differently. Not to mention the hobby shops that did have them and Topps busted selling them on eBay, definately not the right way to handle this one.

A Big problem is that stores ripped the packs for this promotion, or sold them, and had none for customers, so they come in to my stores to redeem, which is okay, however. I have dozens coming in with 100+ redemptions who NEVER purchased an item in my stores and wanted me to redeem 100+ at a clip. They bought them online or from another store, and get mad because they spent a couple of dollars per redemption card. Since I have a limited amount, I have limited them to 2 per family, and if you pull one on my stores I will redeem that extra too, in house, as it is being pulled. After Sept 11th I will honor any until I am out. Also people getting Blaster boxes at WalMart, etc are coming to redeem in my stores?? I believe retail should not have these. I know they do cause I have blaster boxes for sale in my Westfield Store. I just believe this could of been done better for the hobby stores. Why doesnt online shops that dump the product redeem these for their buyers?? Mail them to the online shops that they bought the product for at cost, and see if they can fill these?? These should of been in Hobby Store brick and motor shops only. My opinion.
