Panini America‘s management team added another hobby veteran on Tuesday.
The Texas-based company announce that it has hired long-time industry executive D.J. Kazmierczak to become its new Vice President of Sales, overseeing its U.S. market.
Kazmierczak previously worked as Press Pass‘ Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for four years and was its director of retail sales for three years before that. He also previously worked for Fleer starting back in 1994.
“I’m truly excited to join the Panini America team and to help the company continue to strengthen its position as the unquestionable industry leader,” Kazmierczak said in a prepared release. “This represents a tremendous opportunity for me and I’m ready to hit the ground running.”
Panini America CEO Mark Warsop also welcomed him in a prepared statement.
“The addition of D.J. to our management team only makes us stronger, and we’re proud to welcome him into the Panini America family,” Warsop said. “He brings a track record of success, and a wealth of experience and contacts that will serve our team well as we continue to grow.”
