I just ripped 18 of the triple jumbo packs and pulled exactly one refractor of any type (purple #’d/199). That’s 54 packs for one refractor! I guess they look at the purple parallel packs as added value, but a lot of us are used to a decent number of refractors to get value back.

i know what im getting this week. i really like the design of the card. dont know to much about the prospects though. the lowrie and harper are the really big names here. i saw cepadias had a card in the set, does darvish??? i know ive hated on him, but he’s off to a good start this year already. i was gonna buy gypsy cause i like those cards, might have to buy a box of each this week. looking forward to the hobby breaks.

Darvish is also in the set. i believe he is number 200. i do like the design as well. was able to pull a harper chrome and carlos perez orange out of a blaster. also already bought a hobby box. still like the bowman product.

Your retail break confirms what I was saying yesterday. People slam on retail all the time, and the two autos you pulled are retail exlusives, with pulling adams and wong, you did great. I would imagine that there is an auto in every box again this year, and if you had not busted the box open yourself, a pack searcher would have snaked through the box and found them. Pulling that Harper out of a blaster kind of suprised me though. Great break.
