I’m sorry, but when does a card stop being a card?
I’ve seen blown up cards that were 10 feet tall at shows.
Now granted, this was not a licensed card, but it certainly was taller.
Thing is, I don’t really care.
I’d rather win a set of cards than have this big long thing that I can’t
display and would be afraid of it ripping under its own weight.

It would be a bit of a hoot to see Beckett try to slab it though.
But then, how do you grade something with multiple autographs like this,
let alone look for every imperfection, etc.

so it’s really just 36 cards attached together. ok.

Are they just sitting around looking for new ways to create a REDEMPTION card?

Panini’s makes history with the worlds longest redemption…8 feet long!

The individual cards are solid looking and should’ve been made as a set, not a 12ft pile of undisplayable cardboard. The only other complete is the auto’s bleed a lot (see national treasures manufactured patches)

Gotta love the comments Longest Redemption is so true. Like Exquisite like nat treasures like any other 3 to 500 dollar product …can’t afford it.
These things are great for the few hi rollers and Panini but don’t you wonder why they have to go to this to try and boost sales. This product has gotten a little week wouldn’t last few years.
It will be fun to see how much it goes for and also the bigger question i have and I want to hear from Chris shouldn’t redemptions be without experation dates since it’s a redemption to begin with is redemption synonmous with guarentee.just saying

Honestly, as big, and as awkward this would be to have in a collection, I would be excited to redeem one of these. Granted, with Panini’s long redemption times, It might take 8 years to get, but it would still be an interesting piece. I think maybe they should have one at the 2012 National and display it there!

If this is a “one-time” type of card, this would be a fun chase… but at 400 a box, I probably won’t be chasing.

Also for the lucky folks that do pull something like this, Panini should frame it for them as well… Otherwise, it’s just going to sit on a table with no product able to protect it.

maybe since UD got taken to court over all the redemptions it issued and never filled after taking collectors hard earned money and never delivering anything the courts determined that a redemption is a gift certificate and can not have an expiration date ( at least in CA) once you take some ones money and give them a promissory note (redemption card ) you have to deliver or return their money maybe thats why tops and Panni have corporate headquarters in texas and New York?

i dont mind it but for $500 for a 8 card pack that is hit or miss product, i myself will not/or can not afford to take that chance

I don’t know, actually I do know that moronic isn’t the right word here. Where there is innovation, there is negativity. One could argue that this innovation is precisely what collectors want — more autographs, more prime materials (eight feet more, to be exact).
