If I could only go back in time a couple of days ago and not buy this stuff.

I agree Scott76. I thought there would be rookies in this set and there is not. It seemed like just 2-3 different versions of the same veteran players. And the inserts were not that great either, not to mention that you didn’t get very many. Very disappointing product for having to wait so long for new basketball cards. Plus it seems like most of the rest of the line-up this year is the real high end stuff. I wish they would release a couple of the mid-end products like Threads or Prestige. It will be hard for my son and I to afford much basketball this year.

If there arent rookie cards I dont need it. The price is fine but I need the rookie cards. Does anyone know if series two of this product will have rookies?

Yeah….I’m with you guys. Didn’t know there wouldn’t be rookies. Should have looked into it before I got 4 packs and 2 “blaster” boxes. But hey, Target had some coupon on it and I saved a dollar each box! I feel so dirty buying cards at Target or Walmart, but hey, I’ve pulled some good stuff, I’m sure, at some point. Wish I hadn’t bought these, but now that I have, I might put a set together. I’m with Mike, I wonder if there will be a series 2.

I heard from the guys at my LCS that all rookies in basketball this year will be redemption cards. I hope this isn’t true because I am still waiting on Panini redemption cards from almost 3 years ago (including replacement cards I have requested that long ago). I also hope that this isn’t going to be an ongoing thing with Panini’s basketball cards either and is just happening this year because of the lockout that occurred. Not having any rookies in the more affordable products just takes some of the fun out of ripping packs.
