I have the uk edtion, well nearly all. They still are the best cards i ever collected. I saw Michael Bolton in concert, i was about 4 feet away from him. I wish i brought my card along.

Wow, what a cheesy idea for non-sports cards, even for 1991! Cheesy, but in a good way! I wouldn't mind owning a set of these! Just goes to show: Non-sports cards will always be better and more entertaining than sports cards (sports cards can get boring with similar photos and designs year after year)! Too bad none of the card manufacturers never approached U2, Madonna, or Sting (& the Police) to make a set of cards for each band and artist. Can you imagine getting an autographed card from Bono, the Edge, Sting, or Madonna in a box or pack of cards?

I don't care what anybody says ... I always loved Pro Set cards and I still do. If you can get past them not having any value, they're great cards. Football, hockey, music ... all great stuff. (And the holograms actually do sell very well and get good money on eBay, if you can find one!)

I have both the U.S. and U.K. music sets ... I'm pretty sure the U.S. version was fully licensed - I think maybe the U.K. doesn't have licensing restrictions on trading cards like this, or maybe they're just a lot more lax. Surprising the U.S. version wouldn't have Whitney Houston though, since she was in their football set and presumably they'd need to get her approval for that (or maybe not).
